Punk's Not Dead Movie cont'd

I finally saw it this past weekend and thought it was good, but not great. I wish I could have done a film like this and would include nothing but the important bands that the film only briefed on such as : The Cramps, X, The Dead Boys and today's great punk bands: The Street Dogs, The Dropkick Murphys, The Swingin Utters, Face to Face, etc. This film focused on the pop-punk stuff too much. However the Mike Ness cameos were great and funny. I just really want a Social Distortion documnetary really bad!!!!

I thought they fit all the bands they could in a 2/12 hour movie. Also I like the segment on the Punk vs. Pop-punk segment, just because thats been the biggest argument in punk in the last 10years. I have it all the time with my 13year old brother. I could have done without the 20min segmnet on all those fuck up kids living 20 deep in that house.

Yeah, I agree with you on that one, the director could have used that time to focus on something more important than that.
